Cleaning is a time demanding process which can have a huge impact on the sprayer operator and environment. With our cleaning set, we want to promote a more efficient way (concerning time and water) of cleaning sprayers, including reducing the chance of possible point contamination of the soil. Point source pollution can occur where spray equipment is washed after use or when the sprayer is filled with pesticides. With continuously rinsing, we can reduce pollution of soil and surface water as a result of better and more efficient rinsing and cleaning of the sprayers.
The cleaning kit can be used to ensure a more optimised sprayer cleaning process. With the technique of continuously rinsing, we can dilute the remnant residue at the bottom of the sump of the sprayer down to 1% of the original tank concentration, using less clean water in a shorter time. For this procedure, the liquid of the rinse tank is being sprayed continuously into the main tank through adapted rotation nozzles. The remaining liquid and rinse water is being sprayed out through the nozzles. By this, the remnant residue is continuously diluted and replaced. In the meanwhile, the section valves have to be activated 3-5 seconds at the time to flush all hoses and connections. The whole process will be repeated for 3 times. This method is more efficient, less time consuming and generally more comfortable to operate as it can be done from the tractor than the classic triple rinse method.
